We are seeking a talented and motivated Mechatronics Engineer with expertise in control technology to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing control systems for our advanced mechatronic devices and systems.

Responsibilities:

1. Design, develop, and implement control systems for complex mechatronic devices and systems.

2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical engineers, electrical engineers, and software developers, to define control system requirements and specifications.

3. Conduct system-level analysis and modeling to understand and optimize the behavior of mechatronic systems.

4. Design and implement control algorithms, including PID, adaptive control, or model predictive control, to achieve desired system performance and functionality.

5. Select and integrate appropriate sensors, actuators, and other components for feedback and control purposes.

6. Develop and conduct tests and experiments to validate and verify the performance, robustness, and safety of control systems.

7. Optimize control algorithms and parameters using techniques such as system identification and optimization methods.

8. Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations in the design and implementation of control systems.

9. Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in control technology, mechatronic systems, and related fields.

10. Document control system designs, specifications, test procedures, and technical reports for internal and external stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. 

2. Proven experience in designing and implementing control systems for mechatronic devices or systems.

3. Strong knowledge of control theory, including linear and nonlinear control, system identification, and optimization.

4. Proficiency in control system design and analysis tools such as MATLAB, Simulink, or similar software.

5. Familiarity with mechatronic systems, including mechanical components, electrical components, and their interactions.

6. Experience in selecting and integrating sensors, actuators, and other hardware components for closed-loop control.

7. Solid understanding of feedback control techniques, such as PID control, state-space control, and advanced control methods.

8. Familiarity with real-time control systems, embedded systems, and programming languages (C/C++, Python).

9. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot complex control system issues.

10. Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and present technical information.

11. Knowledge of robotics, automation, or autonomous systems is highly desirable.

12. Experience with mechatronic system integration, testing, and validation is a bonus.
